Sight Word Twister!

We played sight word twister today at center time! The students loved loved it! We had to read a word before we could put our hands or feet down on a word, we got all twisted up! So much fun!!

Surprise Guest!

Today we had some wonderful high school students who came over and read with our students! We were so grateful for them. To make the day even better, Clifford the Big Red Dog came!!! He was here for the book fair and stopped by to say hi! Hope to see everyone tonight at 5:00 for the open house and book fair! 

Salute to a Veteran

Wanted to share a beautiful story and picture from a student in our class. Ivan brought in a poster made for his Grandfather, who served two terms in Vietnam. He was a captain, a leader. We are so proud and honored to know about his story. Thank you to all who have served and continue to serve our great country.

A special ventriliquist can and visited us today and spoke about how we can believe in ourselves; so we will always say YES WE CAN!! 

He also spoke with us about not doing drugs and knowing why we don't do drugs. He was so funny and we just loved hearing his friends speak to us!
